Canada Life supports NextGen Lifeline youth recruitment program

Canadian Blood Services is pleased to announce that Great-West Life, London Life and Canada Life, under the Canada Life brand, have joined Canada’s Lifeline as a National Partner and Founding Sponsor of the NextGen Lifeline youth recruitment program. The passion, advocacy and commitment of Canada’s youth is key to establishing the vital connections needed to meet the needs of Canadian patients. Through the Nextgen Lifeline, youth leaders will help build youth engagement and establish volunteer blood and stem cell teams on campuses in major cities across the country. The NextGen Lifeline officially launched last month in five cities across Canada. Support from Canada Life is already helping to engage youth as the next generation of donors in more ways than ever before.
“Canada Life has a long history and deep roots in our communities. It’s our honoured past that inspires our future. Individuals, families, businesses and organizations can continue to count on us to keep the promises we make. We care about Canadians and the communities they call home. Together, we can do more for Canadians, for each other and for the communities we love” – Jeff Macoun, President and Chief Operating Officer, Canada, Canada Life.
Thank you to Canada Life for your shared dedication to making a difference in the health of individuals and building stronger, healthier and more sustainable communities. Without National Partners like Canada Life providing financial support and encouraging their employees to donate their blood, volunteer their time, donate to the stem cell registry, or sign up to be an organ or tissue donor, we wouldn’t realize our vision of helping every patient, matching every need and serving every Canadian.
