I wanted to celebrate my birthday in a unique way. So I decided to celebrate my special day by donating blood in 2006. It gave me immense joy, happiness, satisfaction and a feeling of pride.
From that day, I started donating blood on very special days of my life. I stared donating blood on my birthday, my and my parents' anniversaries and mother's death anniversary.
Each time I donated blood it gave me unique satisfaction and feelings of serving and helping the community.
I became a regular blood donor since 2006. This was my first time I have donated blood in Winnipeg, MB, Canada. God willing I will be regularly donating blood.
