NoahStrong
The NoahStrong organization was founded by Jody and Dave Dugas to honor the memory of their son Noah, who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 13 from a brain bleed in 2020.
Noah’s final act of kindness — saving seven lives through organ donation — has become the cornerstone of a movement dedicated to empowering youth, supporting communities and raising awareness about the life-changing impact of organ and tissue donation.
Guided by Noah’s affirmations, such as “I am strong” and “I can do hard things,” the organization promotes resilience, kindness and character. Through its school-based Youth Empowerment Program, NoahStrong shares Noah’s story and affirmations, leads meaningful activities in the classroom and awards bursaries to students who exemplify his values.
NoahStrong also engages participants through initiatives such as Green Shirt Day, which raises awareness for organ donation and the NoahStrong Ball Hockey Tournament. Supported by a deeply connected community, the organization continues to inspire acts of selflessness and honour Noah’s legacy.
