As part of the Canadian Blood Services' SMS Text Messaging Program, we send text messages to provide information to donors in real-time. Text messages may include information such as: appointment reminders, other donation opportunities and alerts.
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
Canadian Blood Services may send text messages to remind you of a scheduled blood donation appointment. From time to time, we may also send text messages regarding other donation opportunities and important information for our donors. Support for this program is available by calling 1 888 2 DONATE (1-888-236-6283) or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
To opt-in to this program you can change your permissions online (standard data rates may apply) or by calling 1 888 2 DONATE (1-888-236-6283). By opting into this program, you agree to receive text messages from Canadian Blood Services. These text messages may include information such as: appointment reminders, other donation opportunities and alerts.
To opt-out (discontinue receiving text messages from Canadian Blood Services and from Short Code 25663), reply STOP or ARRET to BLOOD (25663) from your mobile device. You will not receive any additional text messages from Short Code 25663 unless you opt-in again.
There is no fee to participate in Canadian Blood Services' SMS program; however standard data rates may apply.
