This year marked a fourth for the tournament, organized by Erik Gudbranson and the Gudbranson family, and sponsored by Gavin Management Group. The Gudbranson’s youngest son Dennis was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia when he was just six years old. Thanks to Canadian Blood Services’ OneMatch Stem Cell and Marrow Network, Dennis was matched with his lifesaving stem cell donor and has since made a full recovery.

Ottawa Senators' Cece brought his team to victory with a tie-breaking putt.

Generous supporters of this year & golf tournament raised $47,000 in support of the Campaign For All Canadians to help build Canadian Blood Services'Cord Blood Bank . Financial gifts made this year will help to continue building a high quality and ethnically diverse bank through the education and recruitment of new moms and the latest innovations in cord blood banking.

To date, over 15,868 cord blood units have been collected from mothers across Canada and more than 2,000 units are now available for lifesaving transplants.
