Welcome to the Stem Cell Registry Training and Resource Page
Module 1: Campaign in a Box
Campaign in a Box (CIAB) is a set of stem cell registration kits with buccal swabs, labels and instructions for registrants to complete at home. These kits are great to have on hand for those who have signed up to donate and are interested in more, as well as those unable to donate blood or plasma but are still interested in being part of Canada’s Lifeline. You can set up Stem Cell Registry Awareness event to give registrants the freedom to either register and swab on site or take their kit home.
Below are the eLearning modules required for volunteers to run a Campaign in a Box Event. Click the links to begin training. When you have completed the modules, click the Training Confirmation Form button to confirm your training. The form must be completed before you attend a CIAB event.
Module 2: Registry Awareness Event
Stem Cell Registry Awareness Events are recruitment events where people join the registry and swab on site. These events run differently from CIAB events and the kits from these events must stay on site and be reconciled at the end of the event.
Volunteers must complete the following eLearning modules to run a Stem Cell Registry Awareness Event. Click the links to begin your training. When you have completed these modules, click the Training Confirmation Form button. This form must be completed before attending a Registry Recruitment Awareness event.
