Thank goodness for donors

I think before my younger brother got sick, I had donated blood once in my life. It was something I always "meant to do." Once he was diagnosed with cancer, he had to have so many transfusions to keep his hemoglobin levels up that I lost count. Thank goodness there was a supply of blood available for him, he wouldn't be alive today without it. I think that unfortunately, donating blood is something a large part of our population doesn't really think about, until they, or someone they love, needs it. I know I didn't. I immediately became a regular donor, and am happy to say my brother is in remission. Thank you so much to all of you who donate.
