I was having major cancer surgery and I needed three units of blood. I have donated in the past but have not been able to donate due to medications The last 20 years. I just cannot describe my gratitude to the people who donated and saved my life and there is no way thank them directly. It is a very humbling experience having people you have never met donate blood that changes your life forever. All I can say is thank you, Thank you To those who go above and beyond for others. I will be donating as soon as I qualify and I will absolutely be spreading the word.
