My Daughter

Following in my mother’s footsteps, I’ve donated for years whenever I was able. When a coworker was sick, I volunteered at the stem cell donor drive. However, the impact donation has on patients and their loved ones didn’t hit me until my daughter was diagnosed with a rare cancer. She needed multiple blood transfusions. When she needed a stem cell transplant, a perfect match was found in the registry. A stranger saved my daughter’s life. I can never repay that debt but I can donate to pay it forward.
