I've been donating blood for almost 60 years - since the regular blood donation drives when I was a student at SFU back in 1968. It seemed, and still seems, like an easy way to help people and I have several friends and relatives for whom receiving a donation has been essential. It's an efficient and pleasant experience, always with extremely skilled and welcoming staff and volunteers. I will continue to do this as long as I am able and encourage others to do so too.
