My wife, son, daughter and I have all donated blood in honour of my mother-in-law, who was diagnosed with a serious disorder that affects blood cell production. Without blood transfusions she would have passed away 5 years ago. She and many others are in her situation, and if I can save a life for 30 minutes of my time every so often, then how much is that really worth! Take a moment and think about that person’s life you are saving with every drop of blood donated. Please give the gift of life. It’s the best present you can give anyone in need!
