Father’s ABO RhD and Phenotyping (Maternal clinically significant antibody or RhD negative)

Test description

Testing for ABO/RhD and phenotype is performed on the father's specimen when: 1) mother has a clinically significant antibody to determine risk of HDFN in the fetus or 2) mother is RhD negative to determine Rh Immune Globulin (RhIG) eligibility.

Note: Only submit when requested by Canadian Blood Services
