A dedicated donor always wanting to help others, J.P. demonstrates his passion for the blood system by giving plasma, recruiting others, and spreading the word about the ongoing need for blood.
J.P. has been a long-term donor (close to 30 years) in the apheresis program, beginning his donation journey as a young man and military member while deployed to other countries. Since then, he has made close to 220 donations. He usually makes weekly plasma donations but is readily available should there be a need for additional platelet donations.
Enthusiastic, fiercely committed and loyal, J.P. has spoken to the media about blood donation and actively recruited supporters through the military, as well as in his community.
