Letters of Support


Canadian Blood Services has held a series of consultation meetings with affected patient and community groups. This process has resulted in people sharing their many different points of view, and enabled a greater understanding of perspectives.

The feedback participants provide helps shape our requests to Health Canada for changes to the men who have sex with men eligibility criteria. Letters in support for the latest proposed incremental change were sent to the Federal Minister of Health, indicating that there is the will and desire to work together to reach a common goal.
