Ms. Jennifer Camelon
Chief Financial Officer and Vice-President, Corporate Services
Jennifer is responsible for providing the executive management team and board of directors with advice and counsel relative to financial and procurement strategies.
Jennifer is responsible for facilities and equipment services. She is also the chair of the Canadian Blood Services’ Defined Contribution Pension Plan and co-chair of the Canadian Blood Services’ Defined Benefit Pension Plan.
Joining Canadian Blood Services in April, 2022, she brings extensive executive level leadership experience in finance, corporate planning, procurement and supply chain and enterprise risk management. Her prior roles have also had a strong focus on research and development as well as quality processes and systems.
Prior to Canadian Blood Services, Jennifer spent seven years as the chief financial officer at the Royal Canadian Mint. She is a chartered professional accountant (CPA, CA) and holds an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors, which represents a lifelong commitment to excellence in the boardroom. In 2005, the Ottawa Business Journal recognized her as one of the Top 40 under 40.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University and currently serves on the board of directors for Martello Technologies Group.
