You can book an appointment by searching for a clinic by location or date, selecting an appointment date and time that suits you and then logging in to complete the booking.

You can book a block of appointments for a group of people to donate together. It's great for team-building while helping to save lives. Please call us at 1 888 2 DONATE (1-888-236-6283) and we will be happy to schedule a donation time for your group.

Appointments booked online or by telephone are listed in “My Account” under the “My Appointments” section (left-hand menu). From this section, you can cancel and book new appointments.

* Please note: Plasma and platelet appointments can only be rebooked by calling 1 888 2 DONATE (1-888-236-6283).

Yes! To book more than one appointment, you will need to enter your donor card number into your personal profile. Entering your donor card number will activate additional functions such as booking multiple appointments and tracking your donation history. You will only need to do this once.

To cancel an appointment online, select "Appointments" from the left menu. You will see a list of appointments you have booked. Press the cancel button to remove the appointment. You can book another appointment by clicking on "Book an Appointment".

Please note that plasma and platelet appointments cannot be rebooked online

We use a donor number to identify you in our system and to verify your identity. It can be found on the front of your donor card. Enter this number into your "Profile” to enable additional features. If you have forgotten your donor card number or have lost your donor card, please ask for a replacement the next time you visit a clinic. To protect your personal information, we only accept replacement card requests at the clinic.

The "Web Code" is used to find a specific clinic. You may receive messages in the mail from time to time, or have seen posters or other materials promoting a certain clinic. Click on the “More Search Options” link to enter your "Web Code" to find appointments at that specific clinic.

There are many factors in determining your eligibility. Your profile will allow you to book appointments based on when you last donated. Your final eligibility is decided in-clinic after completing the "Record of Donation" questionnaire and speaking with a representative. In general, males can donate blood every 56 days, females every 84 days, platelets every two weeks, and plasma every week. You can donate whole blood, plasma and platelets at Canadian Blood Services. These products are used to treat different conditions in patients.

As donating platelets and plasma is different from donating blood, we only book appointments in person or over the telephone. This gives us the opportunity to speak to you about the donation process.

Many people are good candidates for plasma donation. As there is a different process when giving this life-saving product, we prefer to speak with you to familiarize you with the donation process.

Many people are good candidates for platelet donation. As there are different processes when giving platelets, we prefer to speak with you to familiarize you with the donation process and to determine the best process for you.

You can review your donation history by entering your donor card number in your "Personal Profile". The number can be found on your donor card. You will only need to enter this information once. You will be able to book multiple appointments and view your donor history once you enter donor card number.

You can manage your contact information by selecting "My Profile" in the left menu. You can change your address, postal code and phone numbers by typing in the new one and clicking "Submit" to save the change.

It may take up to 48 hours for the new information to register in the system, so if you do not see the change right away, there is no need to change your information again. To protect your information, your name and birthday can only be changed at a clinic.

Passwords must be minimum 8 characters (maximum 128 characters) and contain the following: a capital letter, a lowercase letter, a number and no spaces. Change your password on your Profile page.

In order to protect your personal information, your name and birthday cannot be changed from your online profile. To change this information, please let our staff know at check-in the next time you visit a clinic. We would be happy to change that information for you. We will need to verify your identity, so remember to bring identification.

For your own safety our on line booking system verifies that you have not donated whole blood within the last 56 (males) or 84 (females) days. If you were unable to keep an appointment it sometimes takes a day or two for that information to be refreshed. Please try again a few days after your missed appointment or, you can always call us at 1 888 2 DONATE (1-888-236-6283).
