The Health System Impact Fellowship Program is a Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) opportunity based on partnerships with the health system.

Through this program, partner organizations provide fellowship opportunities for PhD graduates – learning opportunities that can accelerate their professional growth and advance career readiness. Canadian Blood Services is pleased to participate in this program. 

“At Canadian Blood Services, the successful fellow will work across divisions and leadership levels within the organization and with internal and external stakeholder groups. Primary activities will include, but not be limited to researching emerging trends and technologies, environmental scanning, stakeholder engagement, evidence brief and policy development, data analyses, risk analyses, modelling and scenario development, and delivery of internal and external presentations. Fellows will also participate in aspects of other divisional initiatives and day-to-day operations.”

This fellowship is in Ottawa, Ontario and the duration is 12 months.
